Overview
A public NHL analytics site built on the league's own public API. A Hono ingest service pulls games on a schedule, a Python model service scores every shot for expected goals, and the Nuxt app turns it into standings, leaderboards, and dashboards for every team and player.
- Live standings and sortable stat leaderboards
- Team and player dashboards with game logs
- Expected goals from its own logistic-regression model, plus Corsi and Fenwick
- Win probability and playoff odds from nightly Monte Carlo simulations
What it solves
Advanced hockey stats are scattered across sites that are either buried in ads, locked behind a signup, or built for people who already know what Fenwick means. The official NHL site has the raw numbers but almost none of the models.
Glacies puts the models next to the numbers. Standings, xG, and playoff odds are free for everyone; a Pro tier adds the deep tools: a matchup predictor, side-by-side player compare, and CSV / JSON export.
Highlights
- In-house xG model trained with scikit-learn on NHL shot data
- Nightly Monte Carlo playoff odds for every team
- Pro tier with a matchup predictor, player compare, and data export via Dodo Payments
- Three languages: English, Czech, and Slovak
